Sibelga hires 200 employees support the energy transition

Sibelga, a key player in a rapidly changing sector, is recruiting 200 talented new candidates for 2023. The Brussels-based distribution network operator is looking for around 100 technical and ICT profiles as a result of the many challenges resulting from the energy transition, including the digitisation of the energy market.

Technical and ICT profiles to meet the challenges of the energy transition

In 2023, Sibelga will double the number of positions sought in the technical and ICT fields, to help it reach 100 or so graduate or certified profiles. At the same time, the company is looking for field profiles with or without experience, as well as qualified employees to digitise its processes and process data mainly from smart meters, charging stations and connected lighting.

Customer-oriented support functions in Brussels

Sibelga is also looking for a number of talented individuals to strengthen the teams in charge of meter reading as well as Customer Service. These two types of positions allow employees to acquire an in-depth knowledge of the company and the constantly evolving sector, as the first point of contact for Brussels' customers.

At the same time, the company is mainly looking for candidates in the following areas: finance, audit, purchasing and human resources.

Lastly, as bilingualism is an essential asset within the Brussels company, in-house linguistic immersions are organised to strengthen employees' command of Dutch or French.

At Sibelga, we want to help Brussels customers take part in an inclusive energy transition, thanks to innovative solutions such as electric mobility and energy sharing. To do this, in addition to technical profiles in electromechanics and mechanics, we are also looking for talented IT and electronics profiles to meet the challenges posed by the digitalisation of the energy market.
