How do I activate remote reading of smart meter data?

Remote reading of smart meter data is deactivated by default, except in certain specific cases.

To activate remote reading, you must give your consent to Sibelga. To do this, download our My Sibelga app which allows you to track your energy consumption. It also enables you to manage your consent for remote reading.

Why activate remote reading?

Activating this option will allow you to:

• Track your consumption on the My Sibelga app.
• Access new services, such as a dynamic tariff.
• Contribute to better management of the Brussels electricity network.
• Enable remote operations, such as taking meter reading.
