To activate automatic meter reading, you must normally submit a separate request for each EAN number via the app or the My Sibelga portal.

When you are a property manager, a company, or have multiple addresses, this repetitive process takes time and complicates your administrative management.

Bulk activation

You can now request here automatic reading to be activated for all your access points at once.

Activating automatic reading allows you to take advantage of new services, such as dynamic rates or lbills based on the actual consumption of your access points.

Who can apply?

  • The holder of a contract for multiple smart meters, whether they are located on the same site or on separate sites.
  • A company validly represented by an employee.
  • A third party representing a natural or legal person with a mandate.

How to submit a request?

Activation will begin once the form has been validated by our services and, in the case of requests for residential access points, once the mandates have been verified.

If a request made by a third party concerns several legal entities, it must complete a form for each legal entity, unless these entities are dependent on the same third party (as is the case, for example, with franchises).

An appendix containing the EANs and the information in section 3 of the form must then be provided.

What happens once automatic reading is activated?

Once remote automatic reading of a smart meter is activated, consumption data is automatically sent to the energy supplier on a monthly basis. Sibelga meter readers will therefore no longer visit your property to read your smart meter.
