The public lighting remained on in Brussels, Saint-Gilles, Auderghem, Etterbeek, Woluwé-Saint-Pierre and Ixelles. As this is a general problem, there is no need to report it via our website.
UPDATE: The problem was resolved around 4pm. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
What is happening?
The public lighting is switched on and off every day by a signal sent from a specific installation in a high-voltage substation.
The switch-off signal was not sent after the night, which is why the street lighting is still on.
We are currently working on a solution to send the signal back and restore the situation.
As this is a known problem, there is no need to report it via our site.
