Currently, the smart meter is placed in the Brussels region:
in the case of major renovations to metering installations (e.g. work that requires the complete replacement of all meters located at the same address);
for all new electrical connections;
at new prosumer customers (e.g. solar panels);
for customers with an electric vehicle;
In case of specific projects (e.g. collective self-consumption, energy communities...).
Provided that the installation power does not exceed 56 kVA.
